| Mechanical Engineer In an industrial setting, the Mechanical Engineer will research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs for applications that apply to material handling equipment. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs. Study industrial processes to determine where and how application of equipment can be made. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. under the direction of the Senior Engineer, uses pre-established guidelines and analyzes to modify, design and implement applications including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, specification writing, installation, troubleshooting and training of industrial software applications. Education and Experience Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. Essential Functions: 1. Consults with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to identify current customer systems, operating procedures. 2. Analyzes and designs material handling systems per sales and customer input. 3.
