TUTORS

Itasca
For part-time work on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from about 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The teacher will provide individual or in some cases small group instruction to students in an after-school tutoring program at Presbyterian Children’s Home’s and Services campuses. He/She will assist with homework, study skills strategies, and/ or remedial instruction and keep these the primary activities of tutoring; will meet regularly and keep a specific time commitment with the learner; will make use of materials provided and contact their supervisor for any additional materials needed; will help plan the course of study with their supervisor or designee; communicate regularly with the supervisor or designee regarding the student’s progress.
Education and Experience: Certified Teacher and experience working with children.
