Let ABN Technologies provide the opportunity. An opening exists in Austin, Texas for a Powerbuilder Application Developer with back end experience with front-end experience as a plus. This is a contract position for approximately one year working for a government agency client on a legacy system upgrade. If you are able to provide programming expertise to a mid-sized software development team prototyping efforts utilizing Rapid Application/Joint Application Development (RAD/JAD) techniques in the migration of legacy system to web applications, this position is for you. You must consider your SQL skills advanced, have experience as a member of a software development team and a high level of comfort with the SDLC process. Most importantly you must be an intermediate/advanced user of Powerbuilder 6.0 and you must possess a working knowledge of object oriented design methodologies. Other qualifications such as working with financial systems a plus.
