JOB SUMMARY:
Directs and coordinates the operations of the residential and/or day services program and is operated in
compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and within the assigned budget.
Monitors personnel management, program plan implementation, coordination of appointments and
activities for individuals served, facility maintenance, and management of individual financial accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Monitor and coordinate the implementation of each individual’s program plan.
2. Schedule and supervise direct support managers and staff to effectively operate the assigned
program.
3. Ensure the safety of individuals served by ensuring that living environments and program
activities are in compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
4. Demonstrate and train staff to interact with individuals in an emotionally supportive and
therapeutic manner.
5. Coordinate appointments and activities of individuals.
6. Manage the maintenance of medical, social and programmatic files.
7. Provide staff members with guidance and assistance during emergencies on an on-call basis.
8. Maintain petty cash funds and individual financial accounts, as well as the purchasing of
groceries and supplies.
9. Review the maintenance and upkeep of the residential facility and vehicles.
10. Prepare reports and other correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.

14. Ability to read and understand budget information.
15. Ability to write and maintain accurate records.

17. Ability to be on-call.
18. Ability to stoop, kneel and lift to complete assigned tasks.
19. Ability to use a personal computer.
20. Ability to use a telephone.
21. Ability to travel as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Minimum of four years of experience in a related field, with
one year in a supervisory or management capacity. Certification in CPR and First Aid required.
